Please Please Please Sponsor Me!

A few people have noticed that I’ve lost a fair amount of weight recently…. and they’ve been asking me why… well apart from wanting to get into much better shape. I also decided to run a half marathon for charity!
I have never been a runner but I wanted to do something to repay the fantastic care that Willen Hospice provided to my Father in Law during his final weeks. Gerald – (My Father in Law) was diagnosed with terminal cancer in May 2008 and passed away less than 5 weeks later in June 2008. He spent his final 3 weeks in Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes where they provided amazing care to him. Willen Hospice is only funded 25% by the NHS and has to find the rest through charitable donations hence my reason for running the Milton Keynes Half Marathon.
I’d appreciate any sponsorship you can spare as it will go to a very worthy cause! I have setup a website to make it easy for people to sponsor me.

This is a very cool application for the iPhone which combines data from the compass, gps and ski runs to present an augmented reality view of the slopes!
The app provides data on over 80 North American resorts – I’m hoping they add some of the European resorts too!
