I was really pleased to see this update to the LinkedIn application – why ? Well I was in the process of going through all the Linked In invitations I hadn’t actioned and reviewing a number of emails I’d received there.

I’m quite impressed so far with this much needed update.

You can download the application from the Apple App Store HERE

Windows Mobile has a Bing application too although strangely the Windows Mobile Bing application isn’t on the Windows Mobile Marketplace but is available via a direct download HERE

The UK newspaper ‘The Guardian’ has released it’s iPhone application to the Apple App Store. Unlike many of it’s rivals The Guardian are charging for the application £2.39 or $3.99.

With it’s offline mode and access to existing guardian.co.uk content readers of the newspaper seem to like the application looking at the reviews.
