Microsoft announce Windows Phones
Today is the day when Microsoft has finally announced Windows Phones which use Windows Mobile 6.5.
As well as the new version of software it also provides access to the new MyPhone service and the Windows Mobile Marketplace with 246 applications available.

246 applications at launch….. that’s total applications and not all are applicable to a single device. e.g. My HTC can only see 59 apps. And only 7 of these are free.
Would you pay up to £31 for a mobile app. I don’t think so. Or would you pay £9.69 (where do they get these crazy prices?) for Sudoko which is free on Android market.Compare that to Android market place at launch.
Microsoft has a very very long way to go before they catch up with the competition.
