Vodafone and Apple today confirmed that they have reached agreement to bring iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to the UK and Ireland in early 2010.
Beginning today, Vodafone UK and Vodafone Ireland customers can register their interest in iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS at www.vodafone.co.uk/iphone and www.vodafone.ie/iphone respectively. Pricing, tariffs and availability information will be announced locally in the future.
Good News! – If you have a Starbucks Reward Card you will be able to log on to the net for free at any branch that offers Wi-Fi access through BT Openzone.
If you don’t have a reward card then simply pick up a free card in store, load it with £5 credit and then register the card online.
As well as being used to purchase drinks and food in-store, the card also gives customers access to rewards such as free flavoured syrup, an extra shot and even a free drink when bags of coffee beans are purchased.

Redlaser is a new application which has just been made available on the AppStore.
It allows you to take a picture of a barcode with your iPhone Camera and then use the information to search Google Product Search and Amazon to find the lowest price for the product who’s barcode you have scanned.
Vodafone has just announced a suite of Internet services targeting consumers. The Vodafone 360 services will be available on PC and Mobile devices with initially 2 tailor made Vodafone Samsung devices shipping that provide the services built in. Over 100 other devices will be supported however will require a download to gain access.
The Vodafone 360 suite of services has been designed and developed by Vodafone. At launch the full Vodafone 360 experience will be available on two exclusive handsets built to Vodafone’s specification by Samsung. The Vodafone 360 H1 by Samsung boasts a 3.5” multitouch, high definition OLED screen, 16GB memory, WiFi, a maximum talk time of over 400 minutes (3G) and a 5 megapixel camera. It will be followed shortly by a second Samsung handset, offering customers a range of colours and price points.
The 2009 launch in Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK will be followed by launches in a number of other countries in 2010, including India, Turkey, South Africa, New Zealand and Romania and in France through SFR. through MTS in Russia, and through Vodafone Hutchison Australia.

New suite of internet services accessible on multiple handsets as well as PC or Mac, including a wide range of apps, games, music and mapping services

Bringing parity to the various mobile platforms Google has added support for Push Mail to Windows Mobile and iPhone’s.
Previously this was only available for Blackberry (via an add in for BES) and Android however if you use Googlemail then you can now get your email almost realtime to your phone!

The bill from AT&T came through with nearly 13,000 pages sent to him!
That works out at 15 texts a minute!
No sooner do I discover the great service from Tungle but they launch their iPhone application!
Tungle allows you to schedule meetings with people outside of your organisation providing a list of options to them that it then collates and schedules the meeting.
You can set your Outlook or iCal to sync with Tungle so it has your free/busy information!
The iPhone app allows you to schedule meetings, propose times and even respond to invites from your iPhone.
