If you are driving a classic/retro car with a tape deck installed but have an acute interest in the latest mobile technology then MaxiMobileShop may have the solution for you.
It’s a combined iPhone/Touch/Nano holder with a tape deck interface.
A great solution if your car isn’t quite as up to date as your phone!
This is a pretty cool solution if you want to transfer information from a Phone to a USB Memory stick or vice versa!
It provides a Micro SD to USB Memory adapter and will be available from mid June!
You can get more details HERE or check out the video above!
I used to make fun of the Blackberry users who would be emailing whilst walking and you would have to avoid them as they walked full pace at you.
There was even a hilarious video created for the Blackberry Helmet
A smart developer has created an application to avoid this issue on the iPhone and created an application called Email ‘n’ Walk. This application generates a transparent email application at the same time as turning the camera on so you can see what is in front of you.
The application is now available on the App Store.
If you are a Vodafone customer and travel within Europe then you will now be able to call 35 countries for the same price. Vodafone is providing this for voice and text but no word on data which would be a huge benefit too.
This change takes place from June 1st for Vodafone’s Passport customers. It’s an interesting move by Vodafone as it is doing this ahead of the EU regulations which are trying to also push down the cost of using mobile services within Europe.
This change will hopefully avoid any post-holiday bill-shock!
Thomson Reuters is a great source of news and information from across the Globe. The Thomson Reuters News Pro is a new application that has been launched in the last few days on the Apple App Store. It’s FREE and you can download it from HERE
With the release of the Windows Mobile device client for Facebook I thought it’d be interesting to take a look at the respective client use for each mobile platform.
Looking at Facebook’s mobile help page there are 5 other clients available – iPhone, Blackberry, Palm, INQ and Sony Ericsson X1 Panels.
I haven’t included the mobile browser access at http://m.facebook.com
The respective usage (monthly active users) was as follows:
iPhone – 7,428,018
Blackberry – 5,333,699
Palm – 171,628
INQ – 26,844
For some reason Sony Ericsson was showing as zero so I didn’t include it.
From the client usage it looks like it’s iPhone vs Blackberry
You can now download a Facebook client for your Windows Mobile device from Microsoft.
The application has been rumoured and leaked for some time so it’s good to see it finally see the official light of day.
The client will bring some Facebook love to Windows Mobile device users who have had to just use the mobile browser or 3rd party solutions up until now.
