There are two things in life that you can never have enough of… socks and battery life!

No matter how long the device lasts we always want more… plus we also want more convenient ways of charging devices!

I’ve been on the hunt for a while now for a mobile battery pack that doesn’t weigh down my bag by a measure in Kg but does give a decent charge for my devices.

I discovered this Ted Baker ‘No Ordinary Designer Charging Kit’ from Proporta. It is a fairly small unit (100 x 62 x 15mm) and weighs just 120g!

It comes with a whole array of connectors for various devices including mini USB, Samsung, Nokia, iPhone, iPod and Sony Ericsson. It also charges via Mini USB too!

The best part is that it’s 3400mAH internal battery easily recharges my device twice from a single charge of the battery pack itself.

I think brando has also such a battery 3600 mAh for about 20 euro’s.
Personally I use the socketcom mobile pack, which has the same charging connector as my Asus WL-530GL compact router. With 7200mAh it’s a great travelcombo, and for the cabels I use the modular ones from Gomadic. :o )
