Top Twitter Tools for 2009
I’ve recently succumbed to Twitter and I’m starting to reap it’s benefits. If you are just getting into Twitter then this post on the Sociable Blog might help as it highlights the Top Twitter tools to use in 2009!
My two favourites are:
This allows you to post pictures and share them with friends on Twitter.
Which gives you the ability to post to Twitter by sending an email to a specific Twittermail email (ie abc123@twittermail.com) you can also receive tweets sent to your username (ie @username) all via email.

Choosing which Smartphone is right for you…
I came across this wonderful site which will allow you to rate how important each feature of a Smartphone is to you personally and then score the latest Smartphone devices to help you make an informed choice!
There are basically 30 questions you have to answer and you will then receive a personalised score for each device!
The Comparison Grid can be found here – http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/grid.htm
Trivia – Interestingly the guys at 3lib used to write GREAT software for my old Psion 3! – Takes me back!

I have registered www.mrmobileblog.com which will be the new home for my blog!
Make sure you update your RSS Reader to this new blog as I’ll be posting on there from now on!

Trying to use your Touch Screen device in the cold/with gloves on?
It’s been really cold here in the UK over the past few weeks and it’s meant wearing gloves when outdoors most of the time.
One of the big problems in doing this is that it’s hard/impossible to to use a touch screen mobile device with Gloves on.
Thankfully one of my mates bought me a present from Christmas that solves this!
Etre-Touchy sell a special pair of gloves that have the Thumb and Finger missing allowing you to use your device! (Of course you could always hack the finger and thumb of a normal pair of gloves)

Upon investigation it seems there is another option too…
North Face sell the E-Tip Glove which rather than removing the top of the thumb and finger they have essentially added grip to the finger/thumb!

So if you are heading off ski-ing or using your device in the cold then these might be good options!
The new blog site is go!
I’ve been toying with doing this for a while but I finally got round to registering the domain name – mrmobileblog.com and setting up a new blog site.
I’ll continue to blog about Mobile solutions, technology and applications on this site – just as I did on my old Microsoft blog – http://blogs.msdn.com/jasonlan
