Zagat To Go is one of my favourite applications for when I’m visiting another country either on business or vacation.  It gives you quick access to restaurant information and location.   You can quickly find a mexican restaurant if that’s what you really want to eat!  You can then check the reviews of the restaurant and also pricing!

I was just reloading my device with it and noticed that v6 has just been released which has some new enhancements:

  • New & improved interface makes it easier than ever to find the perfect spot
  • New recent list lets you quickly return to establishments you recently viewed
  • Easier registration and setup gets you on your way faster
  • Transfer your subscription when you upgrade devices more easily than ever

You can download a free trial for 14 days from HERE

I spotted this over on the Channel 10 blog and installed this yesterday!

Chirpscreen is a screensaver that integrates with social networks such as Facebook and Flickr and then floats the information across the screen.

The cool thing is that you can also click on the content and it will take you to the web page or social network site.

It has just entered Beta and you can download it from HERE

Orange Samsung i780

Now sooner do I get my hands on a Samsung Blackjack 2 than this baby comes along to tease me further!

The i780 is a GPS, HSDPA touting Smartphone!

My EMEA director had one of these on friday and we were comparing it in size to the Blackjack 2 and they are pretty much the same size!

The unusual thing is that unlike it’s predecessors (Blackjack 1 and 2) this device has a touch screen as well as a neat navigation button at the centre of the device.

The touch screen was a real shock for me as I’m so used to not having one on these Samsung devices!

Now I need to upgrade my Blackjack 2 :)
